Revivals and Campmeetings

For over thirty years, Dr. Harrison has traveled across America preaching a message of "Revival." His passion for Revival exists due to the influence of several great men of God who influenced him in his early ministry. His study of Revivals of the past along with his experience in area-wide meetings under the old Gospel tent with Dr. Ralph Sexton Jr., and his trips to Camp Zion, Myrtle, Mississippi and his love for Dr. Percy Ray all helped to mold his Revival zeal. In church meetings, Dr. Harrison senses the needs of the Pastor and congregation and seeks to deliver messages that will challenge them in their personal walk with God. Having pastored several churches, he knows first hand the pressures of the Pastor and his ministry.

Mixed with His Revival burden is his zeal for souls. His message of repentance and sin, the Coming of Christ and the urgency of the hour allows him to see many give their heart to the Lord.

Many meetings have extended past their scheduled time and some have even grown into area-wide tent meetings.

The message of Revival is almost a dinosaur in our churches. We have come to a day of complacency and apathy. To be confronted with repentance, committment, surrender, sacrifice, sanctification, holiness, fasting, prayer, and other lost themes, go contrary to the direction of the modern day church. Churches want the same old thing and Preachers are scared to confront their congregations with such hard topics. But for those who want something real, maybe going back to basics is the answer. That is what Dr. Harrison's message is all about. Revival God's Way is the only Way!

Dr. Harrison also preaches several campmeetings each year. Having conducted campmeetings in his own church for many years provides him with an understanding of the atmosphere the Pastor seeks to experience with his people. He is able to draw from more than 30 years of ministry and challenge and encourage both young and old preacher that may be in attendance. His musical ability is also an added blessing to any meeting.
